Along the Way

In case you're making the trip out a few days early, this page will contain recommended things to do or places to stay on your way to the Curve Cowboy Reunion in Hot Springs.

Pre-Reunion Meet-up at Queen Wilhelmina Lodge

If you happen to be coming to the Reunion from the South or the West, you might consider making a stop at the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge. Nestled among the Ouachita Mountains between Mena, AR and Talahina, OK along the Talimina Skyline Drive, the lodge offers a great place to
stop (and has a pretty good lunch menu at very reasonable prices).  If you've got some extra time before or after the reunion, you might consider spending a night at the lodge.

On Wednesday, September 19, some of us are planning an informal gathering at the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge between noon and 4:00 PM.  Please feel free to drop in and then we'll all head into Hot Springs.

Visit the Inspiration of the Curve Cowboy Reunion

If you're coming in a couple days early, you might want to include a stop at the Lakeview Lodge at Broken Bow, Oklahoma, home of the First Annual Curve Cowboy Reunion.  Reminisce and relish in the memories in the spot of last year's reunion. You can spend the night there and then take a leisurely ride to Hot Springs via the Talimena Skyline Drive and the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge.
