We're up to 113 bikes and 166 participants now. We even have a
K1200LT with a Sidecar, as well as, a Harley Davidson FLHTCUI, Honda
Gold Wing, Triumph Trophy, 2 BMW K1100LTs, BMW K1200RS, BMW R1150GS, BMW R1100RT, and a
BMW R1100RS registered. So no matter what bike you have, you are welcome to our group. As
Randy Prade says, "Just Ride It!".
We
need 115
K1200LTs to spell Bad Bad Bike in the parking lot across from
the Velda Rose Hotel. We've filled the first BAD in BAD BAD BIKE for the group picture and are
almost all the way filled
on BIKE. We're still getting new people registered every day, so we're right on track to
making this historic vision a reality!

Battle of the Colors
Canyon Red 26, Basalt 25, Champagne 27. Uh oh!
Champagne takes the late lead with 27 against their nemesis Canyon Red at 26. Even with this turn of
events, I still fear we will suffer from
the Red Menace again this year. Basalt at 25 remains in third
place, but makes a slow comeback after the devastating loss of a
1999 Basalt to a 2000 Black on a trade-in by one of the attendees. I am
sure it will come down to the wire, just like last year. The Canyon Red / Basalt / Champagne competition continues.
We've had another of the elusive Pacific Blues and someone calling theirs a Magnificent Metallic Macho Mauve register and
this puts the Easter Egg contingent at 20 (21 if Don Arthur accepts an invitation to join El Jeffe and the Easter Eggs).
And we be Green with envy! Our second beautiful
Toscana Green LT has arrived! As always, the Black LTs are fashionably late.
We've had 4 additions to the Tuxedo clan in recent day, taking their
total showing to 6. Considering only 200 of these exist,
getting 3% of their population this early is a pretty good start. The LT rainbow is now complete,
but that shouldn't stop you from joining in on the fun. Go register.
