Start or Join your own CCR Train!

What can you do to enhance your total CCR experience?

Create or join a CCR Train!

Now you're probably asking yourself, what the hell is a CCR Train?  Simply put, it begins with YOU!  We're looking for regional ride coordinators, people who want to lead riding groups to the CCR from your little corner of the world.  Regional Ride Coordinators should be from the farthest points of the US and Canada so as to "pickup" participants on the way. Regional Ride Leaders will need to send ride itineraries, locations, and contact telephone numbers pursuant to getting to the CCR.  The information will be posted on our CCR site, enabling others to join at a variety of locations in transit.

Each of the Regional Ride Leaders could incorporate something fun to enhance the CCR Train experience (i.e., a poker run, scavenger hunt, or whatever their pleasure within their ride with award presentation at CCR Saturday night dinner). For instance, if everyone does a poker run on each of the regional rides, then each group could give a prize to the high hand as well as the overall high hand of all regions. This would give the riders that ride from the greatest distances the advantage of more cards and more opportunities to win. Regional ride leaders will be responsible for the cards, stop locations, and timing and can also obtain the prizes (coordinate awards and prizes with James Fisher).

In Short, if your are a Regional Ride Coordinator, you run your ride the way that you want. Let's make CCR the culmination of many great and memorable rides and social events!

If you're interested in organizing your own CCR Train, please contact the CCR II Team.

You don't have to lead in order to participate.  We will post the schedules and routes of the different CCR Trains, and you can catch one as it passes through your area.  If you're interested in joining a CCR Train, please contact CCR II Team.

What better way to meet your fellow K1200LT and CCR brothers (and sisters) than to ride down to the CCR together.

Stay tuned and we'll post more details as they become available.
