Velda Rose Hotel
218 Park Avenue
Hot Springs, Arkansas
Reservations: (888) 624-3311
Ask for the BMW rate of $60.50 per night

In the heart of Hot Springs historic district and the beauty of
Hot Springs National Park is the Velda Rose Hotel. The Velda Rose,
host hotel for CCRII (Curve Cowboy Reunion II), is a testament to a
lavish era with voluminous deco adorned lobby, period pub, spas, six
levels of indoor parking, and a third story patio/pool affording
panoramic views of the Observation Tower in the Hot Springs National
Park. Named for one of two daughters and opened in 1964, the Velda
Rose was applauded by the original owner as the anchor for the
burgeoning entertainment and extralegal gambling trade in Hot
Springs (horse racing is the only gambling left).

The "two-up mecca" of the downtown Hot Springs historic
district will appease road weary passengers with the lure of a hot
bath on Bathhouse Row or the deviation of a stroll in the park. A
leisurely walk from the Velda Rose will take you past a variety of
antique, novelty, and specialty stores as well as museums, ornate
hotels, and even a bottled water manufacturer and museum. Of course,
the entire historic district is complimented with an eclectic
collection of restaurants and clubs enabling those prone to sample
the imported German Beers to walk back to the hotel.

The Velda Rose room rates for CCRII are sixty dollars and fifty
cents ($60.50) per room night for a king or a double. A very limited
number of large king "06" rooms (as the hotel terms them)
are available with microwaves and refrigerators at a rate of eighty
dollars ($80.00). Rooms on the front
half of the hotel will overlook the pool/patio and enjoy a
captivating view of the Hot Springs National Park. Rooms available
to CCRII are limited and participants are encouraged to make
reservations early referencing CCRII or the BMW motorcycle event
(888) 624-3311.

Parking that coveted LT will be a cinch with covered parking just
outside the lobby entry in an area designated and reserved for BMW
motorcycles only. A bike wash will be offered on site as well for a
small donation to a local youth organization.

The Velda Rose Hotel is located at 218 Park Avenue, Hot Springs,
Arkansas, and fronts Arkansas highway 7 on the North end of the
downtown historic district.
