Good news!
We have finalized the scheduling of the following events for
the Curve Cowboy Reunion. It looks like we are going to have a stimulating and successful event once again.
There are many activities planned so be sure to keep an eye on the website at:
this page for all of the great plans we have made. We have receptions at the hotel and at BMW of Santa Fe as well as a great Banquet at the Finale. There
will be fun and entertainment. There will be tours of historic Santa Fe
offered by local tour companies* (see brochure), local festivities, and plenty of time to meet and visit with fellow LT
riders. Also be sure to make plans to “ride baby ride!” through all of the great scenery
that New Mexico has to offer.
*Note: Tours are offered by local
third-party tour companies and are not affiliated with the Curve Cowboy
Reunion.

| Technical Session
II [24K Service continued and Reassembly] |
1:00pm-4:00pm |
- These sessions will be hosted by Mark Neblett and Don Arthur in the
Cabaret. The presenters and volunteers will perform a
complete disassembly and the major 24,000 mile service on two bikes simultaneously. The venue we are
presenting this in is a cabaret and should lead to some excellent accessibility
and view by all attendees. The process will be narrated by the presenters and
there will be plenty of time for questions and answers. As we
accomplished in Hot Springs last year this will greatly demystify all of the goings on under the
sleek skin of the K1200LT. BMW of Santa Fe has graciously committed to
providing all of the materials necessary to perform these services. If you
missed it last year be sure and attend this year, this education can save you
money by letting you see how much of the scheduled maintenance you can do
yourself. It will also make you a little more understanding of what the dealer is charging you for.
- One of our guests from BMWNA
will introduce himself and speak briefly.
|
| Technical Session
III [Auxiliary Lighting Presentation] |
4:00pm-5:30pm |
- This presentation will be made by Jim Lippert in the

as making you more visible from all directions.

6:00pm-8:00pm |
- This reception will take
place at BMW of Santa Fe, and is hosted by Ed Lind and Mike Houx of BMW Santa Fe

|
| "Show
and Tell" |
9:00am-12:00pm |
- This will be a meet and greet and an opportunity to look at and talk about any accessories or modifications that
have been done by various LT owners. It will be held in the
Lower Parking Lot and will be hosted by Randy
Prade, Mark Neblett and others TBA. We will make an area in the lower parking lot where
anyone who wishes to may bring their LT and show off the changes they have
made to individualize their machine. I will have my LT with
the Bushtec trailer as will Mark and Don will show off his LD rider equipped LT. Each of
you is invited to bring your bike down and show off your “pride and joy”.
|
| Financial
Seminar |
3:00pm-5:00pm |
- Bruce Yates will again hold his seminar to help sort out the confusion and options in these erratic financial times.
Bruce’s seminar last year was the surprise hit of the event. He (and the planners) received a great deal of flack for
putting a financial seminar on at a “biker” event. When the session was
over, all of the attendees left with some new understandings of financial
planning in these confusing times. To all of them it was a hit. This once again
proves that LT riders are not your average “biker”. Bruce is a savvy
investment counselor and puts on an excellent presentation. We already have
huge interest in this session so make your plans to attend.
This will be held in the Meeting Room

Zozobra last year. Parking at this event is nonexistent after 2:00 PM. All we
have to do is to walk to the De Vargas Mall just below the Radisson and follow the crowds
to the park. Tickets will be available at the CCRIII registration location at the

| CCR III Activities & Banquet |
7:00pm-11:00pm |
- Join us in the Main Banquet
Hall for the climax to the Curve Cowboy Reunion. Words will no doubt, fall short of describing the antics of which you will bear
witness by attending the CCR III banquet. You have strong hints in
the photo archives from CCR II and the strings of posts dedicated to the topic thus
far. "Rowdy", "touching", "tears", and "cheers" come to mind when reminiscing about
last year's banquet. Sandy and Denise have shared much personal effort and time to
the success of the banquet. The banquet is also the vehicle used to
host the Silent Auction. The list of donated items is staggering to say the least! Applause goes
to Grif on this one. Don't miss it for your sake!
