This basic primer will get you the info you need to make an intelligent choice while showing you how to get the best results from any Digital Camera.

9:00am - 10:00am

The Librarian on the Road

You're traveling in a new state, in a city you aren't familiar with. Your GPS stops working. You forgot to charge your cell phone up the night before, and the battery is dead. You forgot to bring your cell phone. There's something wrong with your bike. Hopefully nothing serious, it's just making a new noise you haven't heard before. You're wondering where the nearest motorcycle service shop is. You have no idea how to begin to look for a hotel. You didn't bring a laptop and you need to check your e-mail, both personal and from work. Now what?

There's an amazing resource available that many people don't think about. It isn't AAA, and it certainly isn't 911. But you can do a lot of things with this resource to help with your travel needs, and your personal needs in a new city. It's called a Public Library.

Join Librarian Jean Zeiler for a fast and easy presentation on what a library can do for those who are traveling. When you need help in a strange city, the Library might become your first stopping point. You may be surprised at the resources that libraries offer for out-of-town visitors. Make sure you know about all your available options when you need help.

10:00am - 11:00am

MotoDiscovery Tours

The World of MOTODISCOVERY Motorcycle Touring A special Winter Escape Ride is planned for the BMW Luxury & Sport Touring community. The details will be unveiled during this seminar. Come see what the excitement is all about.

Bob Carreras will be representing MotoDiscovery and showing how to make your dream ride come true. With a motorcycle, a passport and a dream, the road destinations are many. Mexico, Turkey, Eastern Europe, South America, Egypt, Israel, Costa Rica, Bhutan, India, Mongolia, Iran and more. MotoDiscovery also offers motorcycle Rentals and motorcycle Adventure Training Tours. Come see what they mean by "Adventure in Style" and discover your dream.

You are invited to join us at Bear Country USA for food, entertainment and fun. Included in your registration is admission to Bear Country USA for any day during your visit to Rapid City. They have several small vans they will be happy to take you through the wildlife park for a tour.

On Wednesday Evening the park will close to the public at 4:00pm, but remain open for exclusively for CCR attendees. We will have exclusive parking for all attendees in the baby animal area. You can show off your bike and look at others. There will also be two larger busses that can take 40-50 guests at a time through the animal park. We will have a catered dinner, refreshments and light entertainment, beginning at around 5:30 while we look and visit. A lucky few will be able to play with some baby bear cubs which will likely top 70 pounds by then.

Also included in your registration package is a ticket for admission to Bear Country any time during the reunion. You can go by any day during the Reunion and tour the park. Bear Country will provide complimentary Mini Vans if you are on two wheels.

Laser and entertainment at Crazy Horse

After dinner we are all invited to ride to the Crazy Horse Memorial for a laser light show. We will be providing an admission pass for Wednesday night in your registration package. They will provide VIP parking for the group. We hope that our “show of force” in the Black Hills on our motorcycles will provide the perfect antithesis to the noise and confusion of the Sturgis Rally that precedes us.

Crazy Horse is a nonprofit and we have agreed to help one another. We have purchased $5 admission on your behalf, good for any time during the week. We will ask for donations from each of you to offset this ticket cost, all of which will be contributed to this year's charity. Crazy Horse will return $1.00 for each ticket will be given back to us for this year's our charity. With your ticket purchase and the return from Crazy Horse, we should be able to raise a substantial amount to add to the Silent Auction proceeds.
