Registration is now open!
IMPORTANT! Sales of new registrations will be closing on July 31, 2010. We need to release the remaining room block and give the hotel final counts for meals at that time. If you are sitting on the fence, you just have until the end of this month.
The Curve Cowboy Reunion began with a few BMW enthusiasts who met at
Broken Bow, Oklahoma, over three days in September, 2000. They created the
opportunity for owners and riders to get together, 'in real life', outside
of the internet. The camaraderie and joy of the ride at that beginning leads
us still, this year to Killington, VT, in August. At the heart of the event
was a BMW touring motorcycle, the K1200LT, but the annual reunion opened
itself to enthusiasts on all brands and models of motorcycle. The CCR event
promotes three fundamental goals: to present a positive view of motorcycling;
to promote rider education and safety; and to make a positive impact by contributing
to a worthy local group serving children to help them achieve its charitable
purpose in the host community.
- Are you looking for something different than the usual fare for a motorcycle rally?
- Are you looking for an event that is geared to the rider as well as the passenger?
- Are you or your spouse tired of riding thousands of miles only to find yourselves camping on the ground in the rain and long for the luxuries of a first-class hotel, room service, spa, or a heavenly bed?
We suggest an event that has thrived since the millennium....
At the end of this summer, ride to beautiful Killington Vermont and spend August 31 through September 3, 2010 with us at the PREMIER,
hotel based Motorcycle Touring event of the year.
As Vermont poet, Robert Frost, wrote in his famous poem, The Road Not Taken: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I – I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference". Who knew Frost was a GS rider!? Eyup ....
Vermont is the Green Mountain State, and we'll be right there in the middle of it. Killington Resort will welcome the Curve Cowboys for our 11th Reunion as the trees begin to put on their fall colors. We'll wind up Highway 4, to the Killington Road and up Killington Mountain to enjoy cool mornings, pleasant afternoons, and a few hundred of our closest friends.

In 2009, Vermont celebrated the 400th anniversary of Samuel de Champlain's exploration of the region and the nearby lake that today bears his name. But what the heck is there to do in the Green Mountains? Seasoned riders coming to Vermont know that Route 100, running along the spine of the Green Mountains, is the route to take. Along this route you'll find the wild beauty of Granville Gulf Reservation (Route 100); Fayston, and Buels Gore to the top of the Appalachian Gap (Route 17) as well as the communities of Middlesex Village (Route 2); Moretown (Route 100B); Waitsfield, and Warren. This is the area that the word 'picturesque' was coined to describe. How about a visit to a maple sugar bush? Historic Fort Ticonderoga is just over the state line in New York. The Finger Lakes National Forest and the Adirondacks are just up the road - see where those chairs came from!!! Rock climbing, canoeing, golf, trout fishing, and more, ... all for those of you who join us in 2010 at Killington Grand Resort.

And for those of you with no will power - how about one of the top ten tourist venues in the state just a short hop north – Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory, it’ll be the ‘thrilla from vanilla’! Bring a spoon! Want to see covered bridges, fall color and waterfalls? Vermont is the place to be. Want to pretend you are an admiral? Circumride the Great Lakes, north shore coming in and south shore heading home.

Come and join us as we “Go Green!” in the Green Mountains of Vermont.
CCR is open to anyone, regardless of their preferred brand or model of motorcycle, but the event grew out of the BMW Luxury Touring Community at www.bmwlt.com (formerly the K1200LT Group at YahooGroups) and continues to be dominated by BMW touring and dual sport motorcycles.
If this is sounds like what you've been looking for, take a virtual tour of CCR and visit the rest of our website, or come
join us on the internet at the BMW Luxury Touring Community in the Curve Cowboy Reunion Message Board,
and watch the tension build as August nears!!! BUT, you should know this event is put on entirely by volunteers and the format and venue always force
us to limit attendance. Most years we have we have sold out our available space well in advance of the event,
so we urge you to reserve your spot as soon as you can! We look forward to seeing you at this year's Curve Cowboy Reunion. Don't miss out on CCR this year!!!
